With the on going strife in the Middle East and the threat to US Flagged ships in the Persian Gulf the SeaQuest is tasked with assisting the navy in Escorting the US Flagged ships and since SeaQuest is a ship of deplomacy the other part of the mission is to keep the peace in the Reagon and keep it from Degenerating into all out war.
The Seaquest will work with the 5th fleet command in Qutar as a command base for the escorting operations.
